Many job sites feature confined spaces that need work undertaken in them. But to safely do the work, you need to know how to navigate these spaces.

Our nationally accredited Confined Spaces training teaches you the competencies and behaviours to work in these spaces, across a range of roles, ensuring that you can do your job no matter what comes your way. From the relevant OSH legislation, to comprehensive checks and inspections of the space, you’ll learn how to enter and work in combined spaces safely.

Learning Outcomes

On successful completion of this course participants will:

  • Have an understanding of the OSH legislation relating to working in confined spaces
  • Knowledge of the inspects/checks and work processes required to work in confined spaces
  • Have the ability to identify hazards and implement the correct controls needed
  • Be able to undertake confined space operations safely

To do this course, you will need:

Enclosed footwear (steel caps if possible)
Identification
Unique Student Identifier (USI) Number

*Construction Training Fund (CTF) Eligibility

Construction Training Fund (CTF) rebates apply if eligible.

The CTF provides funding support for training of eligible workers in the construction industry. We acknowledge the support of the Construction Training Fund in reducing the costs of training for eligible workers.

To be eligible for CTF Funding you must:

  • Be employed in an eligible construction industry.
  • Eligible construction industries are defined in the CTF Definition of Construction.
  • Be able to provide at least five (5) days of work no more than one (1) month prior to the course commencement date.
  • Talk to us upon enrolment in regard to your CTF funding application.

 

Completion

Upon successful completion of this course, you will receive:

  • Nationally Accredited Statement of Attainment
