First Aid Training

If you’re the first person on an emergency scene, it’s critical that you know what to do. This First Aid course teaches you how to to provide life-saving first aid until medical assistance arrives.

Our nationally accredited First Aid Training course gives you the critical skills you need to react and respond in an emergency situation where you’re the first person on the scene. You’ll learn how to check for dangers along with the steps to take that will support the patient in a range of different emergency situations until medical help arrives.

Learning Outcomes

On successful completion of this course participants will:

  • Learn how to respond to an emergency situation.
  • Understand the steps to take for basic life support (DRSABCD).
  • Gain the skills to provide first aid for a range of situations, include drowning, bleeding, sprains, fractures, shock, poisoning, and venomous bites.

Course Requirements

To do this course, you will need:

  • Enclosed footwear.
  • Identification.
  • Unique Student Identifier (USI).

For refresher courses please provide a copy of your previous Statement of Attainment upon enrolment.
