What do Aged Care and Disability Support Workers do?
Also known as an Individual Support Worker, you work one-on-one with clients to support them to live their lives their way. You provide personal care to assist with bathing, dressing, grooming, and taking medication. You’ll assist with domestic tasks, routine health checks, and help them engage in activities they enjoy. However, it’s so much more than being a carer. Ultimately, you provide emotional support and companionship, and help to enrich the lives of people that need it.
