Verification of Competency

As time goes by, and despite working in the role, it might have been a few years since you last undertook your training. We provide a Verification of Competency service that ensures applicants are competent and fully trained in their specific qualification.

Learning Outcomes

On successful completion of a VOC, participants will have:

Confirmation that an individual possesses the necessary skills and knowledge to safely and effectively perform a specific task or operate equipment, defined by a unit of competency.

Course Requirements

To do this course, you will need:

  • Construction Induction Card (White Card)
  • Enclosed footwear (steel caps if possible)
  • Unique Student Identifier (USI)
  • Previous Statement of Attainment for required unit

*Construction Training Fund (CTF) Eligibility

Construction Training Fund (CTF) rebates apply if eligible.

The CTF provides funding support for training of eligible workers in the construction industry. We acknowledge the support of the Construction Training Fund in reducing the costs of training for eligible workers.

To be eligible for CTF Funding you must:

  • Be employed in an eligible construction industry.
  • Eligible construction industries are defined in the CTF Definition of Construction.
  • Be able to provide at least five (5) days of work no more than one (1) month prior to the course commencement date.
  • Talk to us upon enrolment in regard to your CTF funding application.

 

Completion

Upon successful completion of this course, you will receive:

  • A VOC awarded to confirm your competency
